Hey all,
I really want to use a Curst Swordsman skin for a melee sneak attack build, but widgets and puissant still confuse me (even though gniht very kindly spelled it out for everyone) and it seems like an awful lot of wasted feats that could be used elsewhere.
It won't be for PvP, purely PvE.
What do we think? Max out Sneak damage? Anyone got a decent build?

Melee sneaks are usually not a good idea. The monsters you attack will get be able to get one flurry of attacks on you most of the time. Because you'll have low ac it also means the monsters attacks will hit you, which in turn forces you to pause and heal quite often. I don't know if anyone has bothered to play one in the endgame areas for a long time.

if it was dex based then with the random gear that can be found these days you could ac in the mid 70s with a dual wield build, if you go single weapon and shield then ac could be in the 80s. This is based on a toon I had that was 20 fgt 19 rog 1 sd, and had fgt belt / warrior widget to boost ac, without those it would have 6 less ac. Barb Rog SD works pretty well, str based dual wield, no need for fancy widgets  This is the link to Kids one threetownsboard.boards.net/thread/1584/barb-rogue-sdI've got one I need to finish which is currently lvl 36, easy enough to level |

I have been in party with kids sd barb and its awesome. Doing great on Avarice last map and Trighton city centre.
He has a bunch of effective unusual builds and some i heard him talk about but not seen him play yet as he says its a pain to gear them all.
